'100 Percent Painting Exhibition from Samsun to the Republic' opened on the 101st anniversary of October 29th Republic Day and met with art lovers at Samsun Museum. The exhibition includes works on the history of the National Struggle and the Republic and can be visited until November 15th.
"100 Percent Painting Exhibition from Samsun to the Republic" met with art lovers on the 101st anniversary of October 29th Republic Day.
The opening of the "100 Percent Painting Exhibition from Samsun to the Republic" organized by the Samsun Governorship, Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU), Culture, Art and Tourism Academy Association (KÜSAD) was held at Samsun Museum on the 101st anniversary of the Republic.
Faculty of Fine Arts Painting Department Academic Member and KÜSAD President Prof. Dr. Metin Eker said that they are working to realize artistic projects in the 101st year of the Republic and to make it eternal.
Stating that he is proud to be from Samsun, the city of the National Struggle, Eker said, "My National Struggle to Victory 100 Percent exhibition and 'Samsun to Republic 100 Percent' exhibition, consisting of a total of 70 works, were exhibited 12 times in Turkey and abroad between 2018-2024. Starting from Italy, they were exhibited in all the dates and places of the National Struggle in Istanbul, Samsun, Amasya, Erzurum, Sivas, Ankara and Izmir, and traveled Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's Liberation Route with the same spirit, belief and ideal 100 years later. I am also happy to have realized most of such an empathy work with my own means."
A video showing the making process of the "Samsun to Republic 100 Percent Painting Exhibition" works and their domestic and international exhibitions was presented in the Samsun Museum Conference Hall.
The program was attended by academics, students and art lovers.
"100 Percent Painting Exhibition from Samsun to the Republic" will be open to art lovers in the Samsun Museum foyer area until November 15.
