Haluk Evitan, who set out with the mission of being the witness and spokesman of our age, started with an intuitive sensitivity, without sticking to the objects to the end, and arrived at a unique painting language by changing the proportions. Here is the artist's life story;
The artist was born in Izmit in 1952. He received his master's degree from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. Haluk EVİTAN (oil-watercolor), who has opened 42 personal exhibitions since 1983, works in abstract and figurative ways. There are geometric elements in his works, where the rhythms of nature are reflected especially with human forms. Evitan, who is not limited to the traditional artistic perspective, deals with the inner world of humans in his works. The artist, who often prefers to work spontaneously, produces different and striking works with his original sense of form and composition.
Setting out with an enthusiastic attitude, the artist pushes the possibilities of contemporary sensibility in his paintings, which he created by going through many experiences, and brings to the fore the claim of being the witness and spokesperson of our age. Haluk Evitan, who was not interested in extraordinary adventures and found his own way of expression by experimenting, came to his current personality after years of efforts and created his special style of expression without being influenced by other influences.
