Nesrin Çelik

Who is Nesrin Çelik? (1971-Istanbul)

She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Istanbul. In 1994, she graduated from Marmara University Atatürk Education Faculty, Department of Painting and Graphics. She also graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Sociology as a minor in 2022. She actively continues her career as an art teacher in high school, which she started in 1995.

Artistic perspective;
She creates her works by making use of elements from the graphic art branch. The main theme of his paintings is women and everything related to women (He sometimes enriched the subjects with a sociological perspective as a psychological and social analysis). In his portraits, women are painted from a virtuous perspective, such as love and innocence, which are still questioned today.
