Şahin Demir is preparing to meet art lovers at DG Art Project with his painting exhibition titled "In Question", curated by Zeynep Öztürk.
In this exhibition where the artist depicts human faces running around in the chaos of the city, drowning in silence amidst the noise; he brings to his canvas the faces of people who are silent, speaking with their eyes, whose troubles and worries are different from each other, who question life.
The works, which are animated by the effect of paints rising layer by layer within the stillness; are virtual, dimensional, open to questioning, where the line between reality and fiction is lost, where people lose their own reality, and where the world of imagination comes before reality. The works, which shine with the intense use of contrasting colors, also give the viewer the pleasure of a three-dimensional sculptural appearance. With a strong visual impact and aesthetic skill, the artist emphasizes that people are not as they seem, while expressing his feelings and inner world.
