His painting adventure, which began in his childhood at the Ankara State Fine Arts Gallery and in 2010 at the workshop of famous painter Prof. Mustafa Ayaz upon the suggestion of the great master, continued with great passion for years under the guidance and direction of the master.

He participated in the “International Göynük Workshop” and the “International Art Suites Workshop” where Turkish and German artists met. One of his original works was chosen as the cover art for Franz Kafka’s book “The Trial”. He illustrated the covers of Özgür Ağaoğlu’s novel “Again” and Elif Çongur’s book “Structuralism, Semiology and the Seagull”.

The artist, who is one of the lawyers of the Ankara Bar Association, continues his work as an autodidact painter in his private studio in Ankara.
The artist, who has participated in many mixed exhibitions, opened his second conceptual exhibition “Alâmet” at Urladam Art Center under the curatorship of art writer İbrahim Karaoğlu after his personal exhibition “Sair Vakit” in Ankara.

Curator Karaoğlu defines the artist’s artistic universe as “Levent Aydaş, an autodidact painter who looks at the life that continues beyond the boundaries of his painting; through the mysterious windows of the signs, traces, symbols and images in the ancient times of mythologies; transforms what he sees, senses and dreams into his painting with a unique artistic grammar; redefines things, events and facts with this visual grammar and presents them with an imaginary reality.” “Alamet” opened with the participation of a large crowd of art lovers, artists and journalists within the scope of the “II. International Mythological Films Festival”, directed by writer Gülşah Elikbank and Artistic Director Gökmen Küçüktaşdemir, and held with the motto “The common story of humanity”. At the opening, art writer and curator İbrahim Karaoğlu, actor/director/writer Ercan Kesal and painter Levent Aydaş gave speeches.
