Art Perspective;
A retrospective selection of Atilla Atar, one of the leading names in Turkish printmaking and also an important figure in the field of art education, from his lithographs and recent paintings.
The human being who does not leave nature alone; Atilla Atar, who particularly emphasizes that he continues his rudeness despite knowing that he is faced with the destruction he has caused consciously or unconsciously and that he will leave a bad legacy to future generations, realizes his works that are products of thought with plastic elements such as color, line, texture, void, fullness, dark-light, balance, and space in rational processes such as image, perception, memory, and imagination. Atilla Atar’s recent works include geometric elements, abstract nature and city images without figures, that refer to the destruction of nature, the impossibility of turning back time, the unplanned urbanization that is becoming concrete, and the gradual destruction of natural life and our environment.
