  Who is Emin Güler? He was born in Doğanşehir, Malatya. He graduated from Mersin Primary Teachers School in 1968 and was assigned to Denizli as a teacher. After teaching in various towns and villages of Denizli for six years, he entered the Painting Department of Ankara Gazi Education Institute in the 1974-1975 academic year and graduated in 1978 and was assigned to Denizli as an art teacher again. He held his first personal exhibition in Denizli Provincial Public Library in 1981. He has participated in approximately 50 personal and as many mixed and group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. The artist, who also participated in various competitive exhibitions, was awarded the UNICEF Turkey 1st Prize, Honorable Mention in Chicago NAVS Painting Competition, Honorable Mention in Exhibition in New York Painting Competition (Award to Fine Artist) and the competition organized by Talens Paint Company, and Honorable Mention in the Artist of the Year Competition painting competition. Since 2021, digital prints and distribution of his paintings have been made in America and Europe with iCanvas Art (U.S.A.). In addition to his art activities, the artist, who continues his art education, took part in the establishment of Açı Art Gallery in Denizli in 2002 and realized the exhibitions of many important names of Turkish painting and many artists from abroad at Açı Art Gallery. He also participated in international trips from time to time and examined museums and galleries; he participated in personal and group exhibition events in various cities of Germany. As a result of all these activities, Emin Güler, whose works are in private collections of various countries of the world, also has works in the collections of Türkiye İş Bankası, Esbank, İzmir Painting and Sculpture Museum, TÜYAP, Çankaya Municipality, Çorum Fine Arts Museum, Kars SERKA Collection, Uşak Governorship and Ministry of Culture, Gazi University Painting and Sculpture Museum. Emin Güler is a member of the United Painters and Sculptors Association. In addition to these art activities, he continues his work in different dimensions from time to time with artistic or social content articles in the local press. Emin Güler has been continuing his art work in Mersin since 2017.
