A special exhibition of 13 paintings prepared by Japanese artist Aya Marray was organized at the Esztergom Turkish Cultural Center hosted by the Keçiören Municipality.

The painting exhibition titled “100 Years of Friendship from Japan to Keçiören in Harmony with Art”, which bears the traces of the 100 years of friendship extending from Japan to Turkey, was opened in Keçiören. The painting exhibition hosted by the Keçiören Municipality featured 13 special paintings, each with different messages. The exhibition attracted great attention.

KEÇİÖREN MUNICIPALITY HOSTED JAPAN’S FRIENDSHIP EXHIBITION!

Keçiören Municipality Esztergom Turkish Cultural Center hosted the painting exhibition titled “100 Years of Friendship from Japan to Keçiören in Harmony with Art” by Japanese artist Aya Marray. Each painting in the special exhibition, which includes 13 paintings, contains a message.

Speaking at the exhibition themed World Peace and Love, Keçiören Deputy Mayor Atila Zorlu said, “Keçiören is the district that has the most relations with world states, rather than being just another district of Ankara. We demonstrate the value we give to art and artists by hosting the works of artists who come from different countries and exhibit their art in Keçiören. We want Keçiören to be a world district.”

Japanese artist Aya Marray referred to the 100th anniversary celebrations of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Japan in her speech at the opening of the exhibition. While expressing her happiness for the opening of the exhibition, Marray expressed that she has been living in Turkey for 4 years and is pleased to open her first exhibition in Keçiören. Stating that she opened the exhibition to emphasize world peace, Murray also thanked the Keçiören Municipality for its contributions and hosting.
