Who is Derya Ahmetbeyoğlu (1984-Trabzon) The artist was born in Trabzon in 1984. She graduated from Kocaeli University Faculty of Education in 2006. She entered Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Fine Arts in 2017 and graduated from the Painting Department in 2021 with the highest rank. The artist's works, which have participated in various national and international projects and exhibitions, are in private collections. The artist continues her work in her studio in Trabzon. Art Perspective: The artist continues her work through female figures. The female figure is a power that symbolizes healing and recovery processes for the artist. The intuitive abilities of women, the energy cycles of nature and the special energies of animals form the basis of this healing. In this creative process, the artist aims to help people activate their own healing powers by encouraging introversion and connecting to potential.
