Art Perspective; The subject of Fatih Başbuğ's works is generally rural life and views from this life. The starting point of his works is everything that exists. Formations and appearances constitute his indispensable elements. Başbuğ, who adopts an expression that reaches from impression to expression by starting from the colors created by these beings in their own essence, establishes a communication language between the viewer with his figurative paintings. Color and texture constitute the main elements of his paintings. Gray, brown, white, red, blue and black are the colors he uses the most and attract attention. Başbuğ, who generally prefers open compositions in his paintings, has a deep understanding in terms of composition in an effort to show the spatial structure of the painting. Lively brush strokes, dense paint texture, and occasionally pronounced contours indicate the richness of his narrative language.
