Who is İsmail Güven? (1965-Konya-) He was born in Konya in 1965. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in the center of Konya. He started painting during his high school years (1982-1983) with the admiration and encouragement of his art teacher. Two years later, he participated in a group exhibition at the Konya fair with his teacher Hüseyin Arıaslan. He graduated from Konya Selçuk University. He painted whenever he had the opportunity from his commercial life. He took private painting courses between 2000-2003. He is married and has two children. He continues his art life in his private workshop in Izmir. He has many works in many institutions and private collections, including the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and the Izmir Museum and Ships Directorate. Artistic perspective I color the photographs I take of my dreams, what I see in nature, with my emotions and transfer them to the canvas. Sunsets, winter landscapes, lightning and storm series, forest landscapes are the basic themes of painting. The artist adopts the philosophy of "no darkness, no light"; He attaches importance to reality in his works.
