Who is Mürüvvet Durak? (1981-Senirkent) Born in 1981 in Isparta Senirkent. One of the first graduates of the Painting Department of Isparta Fine Arts High School in 1995-1999. In 2001-2004, she passed the talent exam of Pamukkale University, Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Department of Painting Education with first place. In 2019, she graduated from Anadolu University, Department of Cultural Heritage and Tourism. In 2021, she entered the thesis-based master's program of Istanbul Altınbaş University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Art and Design Program, Department of Plastic Arts. In 2023, she completed her master's degree with her thesis titled "Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu'nun Artistic Style and Influences" under the supervision of Dr. Lecturer Fırat ARAPOĞLU. She participated in various national and international exhibitions and symposiums. Durak, who has articles and papers in the field of art, has works in various museums and collections. He currently continues his work in his studio in Istanbul. The artist has participated in many national and international workshops and mixed exhibitions, and has opened his 15th personal exhibition. He researches the cultural heritages and ethnic subjects in various cities of Anatolia and combines them with the symbols and amulets that are the subjects of his works. He reflects the symbols specific to the mystical values of past cultures, from his own perspective, in his works with his unique style.
