Who is Şükrü Aslışen? (Rize-1974) He was born in 1974 in the Ardeşen district of Rize. He completed his primary and secondary education in Ardeşen. In 1994, he entered the Department of Painting and Crafts Teaching at the Pamukkale University Faculty of Education in Denizli. He graduated from the same university in 1998. He taught in various parts of the country. He continues his master's degree in Painting and Crafts Teaching at the Pamukkale University Faculty of Education. He continues his art work full-time in his own studio in Denizli. The artist, who prefers to express his positive and negative feelings with the language of art, paints pictures of those who stay on their own shores and those who leave during the tides of life. In his paintings, he deals with people who are wronged, whose rights are usurped, who are subjected to disproportionate pressures and cruelties, in spaces and spaceless environments. In this sense, he has taken as his subject people who have lost hope in people but ask for help from the creator, who is the owner of everything. In his works; the relationships between people and space; It puts plastic values such as ratio, proportion and perspective in the background and highlights pure humanity and loneliness. All these expressions are made on canvas, decor, hardboard, cardboard etc., using waste materials other than painting paints. Art Perspective: Art feeds on pain and the drifts in life. The artist becomes stronger while struggling with storms. The tree that wind and storm cannot destroy is always stronger. Art also loves loneliness. The artist wants to be alone during production. In this way, he finds the opportunity to be alone with himself and to reckon with himself. Qualified loneliness also triggers creativity. Creativity is the encounter of a person with a concentrated consciousness with his own world. The depth of this encounter also determines the quality of the work. As the depth increases, consciousness loses its effect. The deactivation of consciousness facilitates the execution of qualified art. My creations are also in this vein. I transfer my feelings, pains and enthusiasms to the canvas as a result of the drifts I experience. The moment when emotions are transferred to the canvas, that is, when the raw material turns into a product, is special for the Artist. I am alone with myself and come to terms with my emotions. You cannot predict the end of this reckoning. Sometimes it can end at the “police station”, you do not know. In this process, whether the product comes out or not, I am cutting my own belly at the end, The moment I sign the contract, the fight is over. But life sows the seeds of new fights on us, silently and deeply. The Artist knows this and waits on the alert. As is always seen in real talents, the source of the most positive elements also feeds the hidden power of setbacks and mistakes. Losses and destructions make a person stronger and more durable as long as they do not kill him. Let us remember that every loss in nature has a meaning. This is also true for us. When a creative defeat is evaluated, it will be a power that feeds the creative success of the next season.
