Who is Ümran Özbalcı Aria? (1962 –İzmir) The artist was born in Izmir in 1962, completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Izmir, completed his undergraduate education in Izmir Dokuz Eylül University Painting Department in 1985, completed his master's degree in Istanbul Marmara University, Atatürk Faculty of Education, Institute of Social Sciences Painting Department in 1992, completed his Proficiency in Art (PhD) education in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Painting Department in 1999, taught Painting and Art History at the Ministry of National Education for many years, worked in various different universities, worked as Vice President of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Head of the Department of Graphic Design department and is a member of the International Plastic Arts Association and Iledak.
