Who is Ayşe Gönül Anıl? (1953-Salihli)
Ayşe Gönül Anıl was born in 1953 in the Salihli district of Manisa. After completing her primary, secondary and high school education in Salihli, she graduated from the Department of Painting and Graphics at the Buca Faculty of Education in Izmir in 1974. Her passion for painting since childhood led her to the magical world of art. During her high school years, with the encouragement of her art teacher, two of her works were appreciated and sold at an exhibition held at the Izmir Fair before she turned 18, which was a concrete indicator of her devotion to art. This early success symbolized the beginning of her artistic journey and inspired her to make it her mission to instill a love of painting in students in her future career.
After teaching art in Dörtyol, Hatay for 12 years, she started working as an art teacher at the Balıkesir Merkez Middle School in 1986, where she conveyed the importance of art to young generations for 24 years. She has always prioritized supporting her students in developing their creativity and increasing their interest in art. Ayşe Gönül Anıl has actively participated in many art events over the years. She has produced many works in her own painting and ceramics studio and participated in many national and international events. One of her works is on permanent display at the Korea Museum. Ayşe, who believes in the contribution of art to the psychology of individuals, is constantly developing her creativity and continues her work in her studio in Balıkesir.
