Bedia Hanım, one of the first Turkish female painters; Although he came from a family that had been interested in and practiced calligraphy for generations, he turned to the art of painting and enrolled in İnas Sanayi-i Nefise Mektebi, taking lessons in drawing and painting from Feyhaman Duran, art history from Ahmet Haşim, and anatomy from Nurettin Ali Bey. has received.
Here, She graduated by specializing in the impressionism movement, and after school, she spent three years abroad, two years in Berlin and one year in New York, making studies.

Güleryüz, who worked with Arthur Kampf during his stay in Berlin, participated in exhibitions with Nazlı Ecevit in the last periods of the Fine Arts Union in Turkey. Bedia Hanım, an open-air painter, started and finished her works in nature; He participated in the 49th year of the Ankara Painting Exhibition with his works named “Bosphorus with a Bar”, “Old Istanbul – Zeyrek”, “Still Life” and “Flowers”.
