İş Sanat’s highly acclaimed “Istanbul’un Resim” exhibition is now offering unique views of Istanbul to art lovers in the capital at the Ankara Art Gallery.

İş Sanat’s “Istanbul’un Resim” exhibition has attracted great interest from art lovers since it opened at the Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum last year. This exhibition, which includes works themed around Istanbul, presents historical and cultural views from the European and Anatolian sides of Istanbul. These rare works selected from the İş Bankası Artworks Collection reveal Istanbul’s century-long journey of art and history while inviting visitors to a visual discovery. The exhibition now continues its journey with a new stop by meeting art lovers in Ankara.

EXPERIENCE ISTANBUL AT THE ANKARA CULTURE ROAD FESTIVAL
The exhibition held within the scope of the Turkish Culture Road Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism opened at the Ankara Art Gallery on Saturday, September 21. Offering a different Istanbul experience to art lovers in the capital, this event takes visitors back in time with views of Istanbul from the mid-20th century. The works in the exhibition offer the opportunity to walk step by step through the streets of the city with frames from various districts of Istanbul. Visitors to the exhibition can witness the timeless beauties of the city by watching a nostalgic and artistic depiction of Istanbul.

THREE EXHIBITIONS TOGETHER AT THE ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE MUSEUM
The Economic Independence Museum in Ulus, one of the important points of Ankara's cultural heritage, is hosting three different exhibitions as of this weekend. On the second floor of the museum, you can visit the “Security of Your Future, a Century with Türkiye’nin Bankası” exhibition, which tells the story of Türkiye İş Bankası’s 100-year history and the country’s struggle for economic independence; İş Sanat’s “İstanbul’un Resim” exhibition on the third floor; and the “Written and Drawn by Latif Demirci” exhibition, which features the works of master caricaturist Latif Demirci, on the fifth floor. The exhibitions can be visited free of charge every day except Mondays between 10:00 and 18:00 until the end of the year.

A JOURNEY INTO ART AND HISTORY IN ANKARA
These exhibitions held at the Economic Independence Museum offer art lovers the opportunity to take a closer look at the history of Istanbul, the cultural heritage of Ankara and the story of Turkey’s economic independence. The “Picture of Istanbul” exhibition in particular takes art lovers from the capital on a unique journey through the nostalgic and artistic atmosphere of Istanbul, while also shedding light on Istanbul’s cultural heritage through works that appeal to different age groups.
