Kadir Öztoprak - Turkish Painting Association

Who is Kadir Öztoprak? (1976 Ankara-)

He was born in Ankara in 1976 and completed his primary and secondary education in Ankara. He graduated from Gazi University Fine Arts Education, Painting Department in 2002. He started working as a Decorator at the Ministry of Culture in 2005 and was involved in numerous museum projects and applications. Among these, Anatolian Civilizations Museum, Troy Museum, Urfa Archeology Museum, Adana Archeology Museum, Hatay Archeology Museum, Istanbul Archeology Museum, etc. are museums. He is a member of the United Painters and Sculptors Association (BRHD) and the Museum Association. He continues his work in his own workshop in Ankara.

Artistic perspective:
“Considering that art is a magical power that unites people, strengthens human relations, and makes life more meaningful and valuable; What I want to show from my own window; A world full of love and kindness. Infantilized adults in this geography wish to tell people “find a way to love each other” with figures dressed in colorful clothes, bending over and hugging each other; “I try to make positive touches on people’s lives, to animate projections that will make life enjoyable, and to create positive paintings that represent dreamy and serene moments, within magical realism and with a fairytale-like approach.”
