The "Nature of Distances" exhibition opened on December 17, 2024 at Munzur University. The exhibition featured student works as part of the Basic Design course.
The exhibition titled "Nature of Distances", compiled from student works carried out as part of the Basic Design course conducted by Munzur University Fine Arts, Design and Architecture Faculty Painting Department academic staff Lecturer Dr. Merve Semiha ÇETİN and Lecturer Nilgün DEMİR, was held with the contributions of Munzur University President Prof. Dr. Kenan PEKER. The opening of the exhibition was held on December 17, 2024 with the participation of Munzur University Vice President Prof. Dr. Veysel ŞAHİN, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture Dean Prof. Dr. Aslışah AÇIKSES, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture Assistant Deans Prof. Dr. Murat DAL, Assoc. Mutlu ÇEVİK, Faculty members and students participated in the exhibition.
The exhibition held in the student entrance corridor of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture exhibited numerous works from different disciplines. Focusing on the concepts within the scope of the course, the works were carried out using traditional materials such as paper, as well as MDF and wooden materials with different textures.
During the exhibition opening, the conceptual infrastructure and technical process of the works were explained with the participation of the faculty members and painting department students.
The exhibition was held with the participation of many students, faculty members and teaching staff from different faculties, concerts given by the Music Department students accompanied by piano and guitar, and cake treats from the Gastronomy Department.
