Who is Naz Gün Deste? (1978 – Tunceli)

She was born in 1978 in Nazımiye, Tunceli. She completed her primary school in Nazımiye and her secondary and high school in Istanbul. After her high school education, she worked in agencies for a long time in web design related jobs. Later, she won the Department of Painting and Crafts Teaching at Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education and completed her education in the scope of Industrial Design in 2011. She started teaching at the Ministry of National Education in 2012. She continues to work as a teacher in Istanbul. The artist continues her art life in her own studio in Istanbul.

Art Perspective;
In my works, I am informed about my own processes and family concepts. As an artist who admires and supports the inner struggle of women in the geography in which she is located, I try to exhibit the moments created in the mind by turning from the location option to alternative stories in my paintings and with a naive, fragile, sometimes accountable and empowered by the unity of women. He tries to manage fragmented, unfinished lives, migration, emotional declines and rises in his paintings.
