Painter Alaattin Akbulut's "Voyage II" painting exhibition, which consists of abstract compositions of nature and landscape, met with art lovers at The Best Art Gallery.

According to the statement made by the gallery, the exhibition, curated by Ekrem Yalçındağ, includes a wide selection of the artist's paintings.

Yalçındağ, whose views were included in the statement, stated that he studied together with artist Akbulut at university and said, "I have witnessed that Alaattin cared about being able to do and express himself from the beginning. He has been particularly fond of portraits for 10 years. He has especially painted the paintings of painters. Because he wanted to be the painter of painters."

Yalçındağ, stating that Alaattin Akbulut has been creating a new subject for the last 5 years, said, "He traveled to various countries of the world with the Eclipse Hunters photographer group and professionally photographed solar eclipses, and while recording this temporary, second-by-second, instantaneous universe event, he directed his camera to the wild nature of those regions. He created an archive of permanent images. This archive forms the infrastructure of Alaattin's paintings both in terms of memory and imagination."

The exhibition can be visited until October 27.
