Izmir Tınaztepe University recently hosted a special exhibition and opened an exhibition with the artist's own works in memory of painter Nezihe Uslay, lecturer at Dokuz Eylül University Buca Faculty of Education Painting Department, who passed away 3.5 years ago. The exhibition was attended by Tınaztepe University's founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Mehmet Bektur, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Güvençer, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Esra Özer, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Erol Gökel, General Secretary Hasibe Çelen, former CHP MP Mehmet Ali Susam and his wife Münire Susam, Orthopedist Dr. Levent Köstem, writer Rakela Asal, Dr. Zeki Hozer, Tınaztepe University academicians, Dokuz Eylül University Buca Faculty of Education graduates and professors, art-loving friends and family members attended.

In his speech at the opening, Tınaztepe University Rector Mustafa Güvençer said, “Our artist, who is also a faculty member, is an example of women's hard work, productivity and sensitivity. "We are honored to exhibit the valuable works he has produced so far at our university and we remember him with mercy," he said, creating emotional moments for the students and friends in the hall. Nezihe Uslay retired after working for 20 years as a lecturer in the Painting Department of İzmir Dokuz Eylül University, Buca Faculty of Education. Uslay opened many exhibitions at national and international levels and took part in international group exhibitions with his works.
