    • Who is Mehmet Sağ? Mehmet Sağ, who argues that the future of Turkish painting and art will be shaped by the basic way of thinking that forms Turkish culture, has many articles about Turkish painting and art. Mehmet Sağ's life story is as follows; He was born in Mersin in 1968. He graduated from Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education, Department of Art Teaching in 1993. In 1994, he started working as an assistant at Yüzüncü Yıl University, Faculty of Education, Department of Painting. In 1998, he completed his master's degree at Pamukkale University, Institute of Educational Sciences, Fine Arts Education Program. He graduated from Gazi University Institute of Educational Sciences Painting Education Doctorate Program in 2009. The artist, whose works have been exhibited in more than a hundred national and international group painting exhibitions, has participated in many national and international painting workshops. His works were printed as cover and page designs in many magazines and books and distributed as posters. He wrote articles on "Art, Art Education, Turkish Painting and Culture" in national and international magazines. He gave many conferences and opened personal exhibitions with the title "Turks are the Masters of Colours". He defended his thesis in the light of scientific materials that the future of Turkish painting and art will be shaped by the basic way of thinking that forms Turkish culture. The artist currently continues his artistic and academic studies at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Traditional Turkish Arts.
