  Who is Aysun Cançat? (1977-Istanbul) She was born in Istanbul. She completed her primary and secondary education in Istanbul. In 2006, she graduated from Marmara University Atatürk Education Faculty, Department of Art Education with first place. She worked as an art teacher in various educational and art institutions between 2006 and 2009. In 2010, she completed her master's degree with thesis at Istanbul Kültür University, Department of Art Management. While she was doing her master's degree, she opened her first personal painting exhibition at the university's art gallery. In 2015, she completed her doctorate at Marmara University, Department of Art Teaching, with her thesis titled "Art Education in the Light of New Surface Applications of Contemporary Painting". Between 2014 and 2017, she worked as a lecturer at Çankırı Karatekin University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. She has been working as a lecturer at Istanbul Gelişim University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Design since 2017. Artist and academician Cançat; She continues her personal, group exhibitions and different academic studies.
