  Who is Nevin Keskin? (1965-Ankara) Nevin Keskin was born in 1965 in Ankara, Turkey. She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara. She graduated from Anadolu University Public Relations Department. She continued her career at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and retired. She started her professional education at a young age, during her primary school years, when she did not paint. She started her professional education in the workshop of world-famous Turkish painter Eşref Üren. She continued her drawing lessons with Eşref Üren for 3 years. Later, she continued her drawing lessons with Osman Zeki Oral for 3 years and received an education certificate. She continuously worked on abstract painting in the workshop of painter Sabri Akça for seven years. The main theme of her works is Strong Women, and in her paintings, the artist depicts women who can overcome all kinds of difficulties with an aesthetic and elegant language. In her works, collage and acrylic mixed technique on canvas emerged. After working on many techniques in her long painting journey, the artist, who fell in love with collage, mostly uses; waste magazines, posters, construction sand, lemon net, etc. while creating her works. figures like today. Magazines are not just pictures or pieces of paper for different, they are a starting point, a creative and adaptive narrative form. When inspired and set out, unique works are created from these magazines and imagination is freely reflected in the works.
