Who is Assoc. Dr.Saime Uyar?

Saime Uyar completed her undergraduate education at İnönü University, Faculty of Education, Department of Painting, and her master’s degree at Istanbul Kemerburgaz University, Department of Art and Design. She graduated from Hacettepe University Institute of Fine Arts in the field of Proficiency in Art on June 28, 2021. The artist, who started his work in the field of visual arts with painting and sculpture, continues his work in the field of folklore (folk dances) simultaneously with his murals, photography, video and short documentary films. Concentrating on the problems of the age he lives in, the artist shapes his art with tree forms that exist with hope from the chaos of life, symbol of power and representation of hope.

He has 5 personal exhibitions named “Trees”, “Reflections from Nature”, “Roots”, “Renewed” (Painting Exhibitions), “Refugee Lives” (Photography Exhibition) and has taken part in many national and international group exhibitions. In 2019, she successfully completed the social-artistic project “We Color Gray Lives” for the benefit of refugee individuals.
