Serdar Öztürk

Who is Serdar Öztürk?

Serdar Öztürk was born in Altındağ in 1988. I completed my primary and secondary education in Ankara. He completed his higher education at Konya Selçuk University and graduated from the art teaching department. He is currently working at Ankara Çankaya City Doğukan Tazegül Anatolian High School.

Let’s hear his understanding of art from his own words:

“My interest in art started in my childhood. Whenever I had free time, I would always paint. My cousins’ interest in painting and drawings would motivate me more and I would want to paint more. In this way, by improving myself more and continuing to paint, I decided to become an art teacher after my high school years. After I started my career, I tried watercolor and decided to progress step by step on this path. I have been continuing to work in watercolor professionally for about 1 year.

I am more familiar with watercolor art. When I wanted to improve myself in the field of watercolor, I focused on Ankara houses for a while and after completing my watercolor works on Ankara houses, I opened my first personal exhibition. Subsequently, I opened two more personal exhibitions and took part in nearly fifteen group art exhibitions.”
