The "54th Year Grand Exhibition" of the United Painters and Sculptors Association (BRHD), supported by the Çankaya Municipality, has opened its doors to visitors.

The United Painters and Sculptors Association (BRHD) presented the 54th Year Grand Exhibition to art lovers with the support of the Çankaya Municipality. The exhibition, which was opened at the Çankaya Municipality Contemporary Arts Center, will remain open until December 22.


The exhibition, which began with an award ceremony at its opening, brought together the works of 220 artists from around the world this year. Artists from Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, South Korea, Georgia, England, Pakistan and Russia also took their places in the exhibition.

Intercultural Meeting
The works exhibited at the Çankaya Municipality Contemporary Arts Center can be viewed free of charge and open to anyone interested in art every weekday between 09:00-20:00.

This event aims to strengthen intercultural understanding and establish a global dialogue through art, while offering art lovers different perspectives.

Respect for Unforgettable Names
BRHD also paid special tribute to two important names who have passed away, Prof. Dr. Zafer Gençaydın and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ayaz, along with the exhibition. Both artists had previously served as presidents of the association and made significant contributions to Turkish art.

Awards Found Their Owners
The opening of the exhibition was crowned with an award ceremony honoring names who contributed to art. This year's awards were given to South Korean artist Kim Younmoon, a lecturer at Hacettepe University, painters Gülsen Erdoğan, Nihat Kahraman, Serap Etike, Suna Özkan, Hasan Akın and Etimesgut Mayor Erdal Beşikçioğlu.
