Founded to tell the development story of Kocaeli University, Prof. Dr. The opening of the Theater Sketches Collection exhibition at Baki Komsuoğlu Museum was held today. The exhibition is a first in its field by building a bridge between artists of the Republic period and young artists.
Kocaeli University Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. The opening of the Baki Komsuoğlu Museum Theater Sketches Collection exhibition was held today at KOÜ Anıtpark Campus. Kocaeli University Secretary General Mustafa Eren, Kocaeli University Vice Rector Ömer Faruk Çelik, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Süreyya Temel, academicians and administrative staff as well as graduate students attended the exhibition opening, which coincided with the graduation ceremony.
The work, which was carried out among the 100th anniversary art-culture projects carried out by the Deanship of Kocaeli University Faculty of Fine Arts, is a first in its field by establishing a bridge between artists of the Republic period and young artists.

Dr. The museum, which was created with Baki Komsuoğlu's collection of equipment used in various units of the university, was developed by collecting technological materials that shed light on the science-industrial history of the city. Finally, works within the scope of the Food for the Soul exhibition, organized with the participation of Japanese artists in 2002 in memory of the 17 August earthquake, were donated and the museum's art collection was created with 43 pieces of art created with the efforts of Kocaeli University Faculty of Fine Arts. The museum was designed in three sections: the Establishment and Development Department, the Technology Department, and the Art Department.
