The culture-art meetings that started with Korean academic artists at Eskiiz Art Gallery continue without slowing down.

The final stage of the project, which was created with the cooperation of Eskiiz Art Gallery, C+, Dada Project and Aydos Seramik Studio, the workshops started with 8 Korean and 8 Turkish artists.

First, on July 1, the fascinating exhibition of Korean artist Lee Young Taek called “Hidden Melody and Harmony of Time” met with art lovers in Izmir. Following this exhibition, the meetings continued with Kyurak Choi’s exhibition called ‘Stranger Things’ on August 5. Both of these exhibitions were completed with the intense interest of art lovers in Izmir.

The third leg of the Turkish-Korean artists’ culture-art meetings event will be held between August 11-14. Korean and Turkish artists meet at Eskiiz Art Gallery with live performances and start producing together. The exhibitions and workshops consisting of two and three-dimensional works will both strengthen cultural unity and friendship and add color to the cultural and artistic life of Izmir.

The development of Turkish-Korean artistic unity and the beginning of cultural exchange between artists from both countries are quite pleasing. Such art events have a strengthening effect on cultural dialogue. In this context, the works created by artists from both countries will be presented to art lovers of Izmir at the opening cocktail to be held on Wednesday, August 14 at 19:00.

The events held in a historical building located in the historical Kemeraltı district of Izmir fascinate both artists and art lovers. Eskiiz Art Gallery, which is the mediator of this meeting that will contribute to the development of cultural and artistic cooperation between the two countries, will definitely take its rightful place in the Izmir Culture and Art scene with its new projects in the field of art.

The exhibition can be viewed free of charge at Eskiiz Art Gallery between August 14-24.
