Moldovan artists Angela Botnari and Yurdanur Gözcü’s exhibition titled “Symphony of Colors” opened at Beylikdüzü Atatürk Culture and Art Center (BAKSM). The exhibition, which consists of 74 works that combine still life, nature painting and portrait works, will meet art lovers from Beylikdüzü at Galeri Bedri Rahmi Exhibition Hall until February 18.
“I invite all our neighbors to see these works of art”
The opening of the exhibition, which saw intense participation, was also attended by Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık and the Consul General of the Republic of Kosovo in Istanbul Suzan Novoberdaliu. Stating that he found the works “magnificent,” Mayor Çalık said the following in his speech: “Beylikdüzü Municipality is a municipality that always strives to be by the side of the artist. A society that cannot establish a connection with art cannot establish a connection with life either. The ideas we should be inspired by are the ideas of Gazi Mustafa Kemal. As he said, “A nation without art means that one of its lifelines has been severed. I would like to thank our artists for exhibiting these beautiful works here. I invite all our neighbors to see these works of art.”
